OUR TEAM

Mary Marketaki

career is a life pathway. It is often interrupted, transformed and constantly challenged. The average European will change professions at least 15 times throughout their lifetime. Technology, global crises, aging population, climate change and many other factors are constantly changing both the subject of our profession and the way we work.

Throughout my 25-year corporate journey, from an assistant at Nestlé’s Marketing department to leading Roche’s Communication and Public Relations Affairs, I was given the opportunity to take on various job positions. That is how I explored what a career in the corporate environment means and what skills are necessary for an employee to claim a place in a company’s competitive environment, maintain it or even grow through it, to develop as a professional as well as a person, until their next step.

I also had the joy of contributing to the career development of employees referred to me, identifying their talents and planning with them their next steps, motivating them for their future. Most importantly, I had the opportunity to observe what triggered some to  fervently invest in their job. I was fascinated by exploring people, each one of them individually, a whole complex world. It is a unique pathway. Through my work as a career and educational counselor, I am still doing what I always loved but in a different context. Having studied at the Department of Primary Education of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens, I completed my Master’s degree in the Department of Marketing and Communication of the Economic University of Athens with a thesis on “Success factors in a career in the pharmaceutical market”. I continued my education at the Department of Educational Science of Rome’s Roma Tre University with a Master’s degree focusing on “Planning and Development of Career Orientation and Placement at the Labor Market”

I have traveled to all continents and most importantly, to my psyche.

Are you ready to shape with us your pathway?
